AirPrint has become an invaluable feature for many users. Being able to effortlessly print documents, photos, and emails directly from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac without the need for additional software.
Recent reports shows that AirPrint does not work after IOS 17 upgrade and here is the guide to fix it
To get your iPhone to recognize your wireless printer, follow these steps:
- Ensure your printer is AirPrint-enabled. Check your printer’s specifications or Apple’s official support page for AirPrint compatibility.
- Connect your iPhone and printer to the same Wi-Fi network. This is crucial for AirPrint to work.
- Disable any VPN connections on your iPhone as they can interfere with network communication. Navigate to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management to turn it off.
- Turn off the Private Wi-Fi Address feature if it’s enabled. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, tap the information (i) button next to your network, and switch off Private Wi-Fi Address.
- If your printer supports Wi-Fi Direct, you can connect your iPhone directly to the printer without a Wi-Fi network. Check your printer’s manual for instructions.
- For non-AirPrint printers, download the printer’s official app from the App Store and follow the app’s instructions to set up a connection.
- If issues persist, restart both your iPhone and printer to reset the network connection.
Remember, your iPhone and the printer must be on the same network, and sometimes printers may require a firmware update to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of iOS. If you continue to experience issues, consult the printer’s user manual or contact the manufacturer’s customer support for assistance.
